Language Group
The Willamette Tsa-La-Gi Language Group meets every Tuesday from 6:00–7:30 PM at the LCC Longhouse.
We come together to practice Cherokee introductions, syllabary, conversation, and other topics in a supportive, peer-led environment.
There’s no formal teacher—just community members learning together, sharing knowledge, and helping one another grow in the language. Anyone is welcome to join at any time, regardless of experience level.
For questions, reach out to Lisa Ponder.
Puget Sound Language Group
Our group also joins the Cherokee Community of Puget Sound’s Beginner Cherokee Language Study Group, which meets twice a month on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM (Pacific Time) for about 90 minutes.
